Welcome back to another exciting school year at Lincoln Fundamental Elementary! We hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the last days of summer. We are eagerly anticipating the first day of school on Tuesday, August 13, and cannot wait to welcome our students back to campus.

We are thrilled to have you as part of the Lincoln community and are excited for you to experience the amazing things happening at our school. Our dedicated teachers have been busy all summer long, attending a variety of workshops and meetings to enhance their professional skills. They have been planning engaging and enriching learning experiences for your children, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

This year, we are excited to continue our journey as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) candidate school. In the classroom, this will look like students engaging in inquiry-based learning, developing critical thinking skills, and becoming globally-minded citizens. We are working diligently towards applying for IB authorization in the spring, and we appreciate your support as we strive to achieve this important milestone.

We strongly believe in the power of partnership between home and school. Your involvement in your child's education is crucial, and we look forward to collaborating with you throughout the year.
